I can't believe how many people I know that are mad at the jury in this case. The jury did absolutely nothing wrong. The prosecution rushed to get her on trial in hopes that people's opinion would be enough to sway the weak evidence in the direction of "Guilty"... which, if the jury does it's job, should never happen. The jury did it's job. The justice system did it's job. The prosecution comes out of this regretting the whole thing, I bet.

I think she killed her daughter, but the prosecution had absolutely no concrete evidence that she did. The prosecution hoped that the public and jury would continue with their emotions would sway the jury into a guilty charge, but the defense blew away their weak evidence (no DNA, no witnesses, everyone said she was a good mother, no fingerprints, etc.). Anyone mad at the jury (facebook is stupid right now, as usual), are idiots, IMO. Like someone said earlier, not guilty is not the same thing as innocent. People can't forget that.
Some children die from an accident. I've just never heard of someone deciding to throw the body in a swamp, making it look like a murder, instead of calling 911 and reporting the accident.
this basically goes with the concept its better to lie than tell the truth...wait it out and take your chances. she waited until as long as she could knowing the longer she waited the hard it would be to pin evidence. in w**** form she went out , and did hot body contests, got tattoos of the 'dolce vita' while her daughters dead body stunk it up in the trunk it hot FL sun. f-ing awesome. finally after 30 days it was reported to police that the kid was *missing*. then when investigators ask her who she tells them a made of name of a person that was lifted off a name she read somewhere kaizer soze style. Then casey says she worked at some place, and the investigators went with her to her *work* ..they walk down the hallway at her work where her office was. Once they get to the end of the last cube she admits to the officers she was lying and that she didn't even work there. shes nuts. I wouldnt be surprised joran van der sloot style if this girl is involved in some nasty sh** going forward. porno /obvious *lost* sex tape is anothjer safe bet... This is worse than the OJ case but I am old enough to remember that when the name kardashian came up it was associated with scum, and the devil that is OJ. my daughter is young enough that tmz will be on it and I will walk in on my daughter watching "keeping up with casey" and her new fragrance line "casey" while the morbid goth pieces of crap want her locks of hair to wear around their necks and attention w****. This casey girl is going to be a millionaire at least, and people are going to jock her left right and center.. she will be on vanity fair ,and we will see her in cannes down the runway soon enough. Everyone will lap it up , and then burp for more. That's the american way.
I think we have a redux of the OJ Trial, the jury pissed at the judge for sequestering + prosecutions rush job/coddling of the story = easier to acquit than deliberate. Maybe she offered the jury t***?

Heck, behaving like a slut after the death of a loved one isn't a crime, nor is it evidence of a crime. There was literally ZERO proof that she was negligent while the child was alive. The only thing that could be proven was that after death she made a lot of horrible decisions, lied a lot and reacted in a way that most of us find repulsive when she had a dead daughter. Still doesn't prove child abuse or neglect, let alone murder. Doctors testified there was no signs of child abuse. Character witnesses debunked the idea there was neglect.
