So what would split be if: UT vs Cougars (this year) at Reliant A&M vs Cougars (this year) at Reliant what 50/50? 50% cougar fans ?
Did you see the Texas Bowl vs. TCU? Are you aware UH brought 32,000 people to watch Texas freakin State and UTEP? Hell, for Tech there were thousands of Cougars left ticketless. UT or A&M would bring a sellout at Reliant. I'd say 60/40. Inching closer to 50/50 depending on the circumstances (what point in the year, both team's records, etc) Reliant is 71,500 capacity. Half of that is almost what fits into Robertson. Not to mention how many more Cougars seem to show up for marquee matchups. You do the math.
I think you are under counting the UT/A&M Alumni in Houston by alot and double counting the number of UH fans.
if UT played UH at Reliant, it would be like one of those halloween cupcakes with orange frosting and little red sugar sprinkles on top if A&M played UH at Reliant, it would look like, I don't know, Beef Carpaccio with little red pepper flakes for flavor
Poop with blood in it? Edit: Actually, that could be UT too, provided you drank a lot the night before.
That's ridiculous, the Cougars could easily sell 35,000 tickets against UT or the Aggies. I would love to see UT or the Aggies add Houston to their schedule, but I guess they would rather play teams like Florida Atlantic or Florida International.
lmfao this tool is just like the tech fans who said that they will "black out" robertson with tech fans...
I'm not so sure the numbers from UH games will translate into Reliant Stadium as well as you guys expect. Most of the seats at Robertson are filled with students who get in for free with a student ID. I doubt they are as willing to pay to see their team play a big conference team as much as big conference team fans paying to see their team play any type of competition. I say this as a grad student who went to UT and now goes to UH.

Well then, as a grad student I am sure you understand the concept of alumni. If not I would be glad to assist you..... Students graduate, become alumni, obtain jobs, and pay for seats. Contrary to your beliefs, UT and A&M are not the only schools whose alumni go to football games. As a cougar alumn, I can honestly say that it makes me proud to be on campus during a gameday. The environment on Cullen is completely different from when I attended UH......like night and day. Go take a look around campus on gameday and maybeyou will stop with the boing assumptions. Cougar pride is growing whether you T-Sips and aggie lovers realize it or not.
