long term this is it and i just love it if turkish national team is big at development!!

but last nights game was what i had in mind short term and why i called for alpi playing g league alongisde nba minutes as well

you need PT to get into rhythm and flow of the game to kinda unlock yourself somewhat ...player needs to play to get his mind right....

    NO FLOW NO RHYTHM
youre getting 15 minutes a game, your being thrown outhere in the middle of the game when team is in dissaray and not willing/capable to set you up with the ball in your places...then its usually a timeout or a quarter break, or refs gift you with ticky tack or plain bogus offensive fouls or travels

there is no flow he hardly have opportunity to do his bread and butter drive from top of key or postups theres no time left to chuck 3 pointers or midrangers cause if you miss them the game is either lost or your not getting into rhythm

its like trying to **** while police is knocking on the doors, phone is ringing and dogs, cats and kids scream to be fed simultaneously....

this is why i am suspicious of trying to get his jumpshot right now but to wait for the postseason or when he gets plenty of touches 20 shots a game that kind of things...perhaps in second part of the season when i hope he starts to start...

working on his 3pt shot right now is only doing disservice to him and the team... cause theres only so much things you can work on simultaneously.. and you first get your bread and butter right then the other parts of game

lucas, silas (and refs) are watering him down and spreading thin big time...
cause hed look like a beast focusing on things hes good at 30 minutes a night...
    just setting nice screens
    postups
top of key playmaking and drives
    high post low post playmaking

I don't give a.... to 3pt shooting, I want to watch real basketball, two hard fighting teams/players for every ball. If I want to watch 3s I watch Harlem or go to circus.

There were 2 real matches yesterday :Barcelona-Kazan and Efes-Red Star. Both finished with 1 point difference, even Barca match in overtime. After those matches watching Garrison's or Wood's meaningless 3s made me sick. Silas and Co were watching like me, the only difference I was in the UK, they were in courtside.

Alpi could get 12 rebounds last night instead of 8.Few balls slipped and he tipped twice to the teammates. The second part shows that he is still a team player not a selfish pr... like Josh Christopher. The worst thing is happening that Rockets management /roster forcing him to become selfish like an ordinary NBA player. It may create a situation that less assists might come from Alpi. What is the probability of Alpi assisting Christopher in the next match?

After All-Star brake Alpi is going to play around 28-30 minutes whether Silas wants or not. He will produce 20/12/6, it is a certainty.

For G league: I guess that league is good for confidence, not for progress. If you feel lost and your game seems rubbish G league is good to regain confidence. Helped Cedi Osman, Christopher, Garuba and might help Garrison but Green and Alpi already passed that stage. It will be a kindergarten for them, not always helpful.

    YES!
this was my biggest positive takeaway from last nights game...
double big lineup seemed to be destroying the zone

Defense was the only problem in the Sengun-Wood lineup.

    Sengun struggled defensively vs Bucks.

As the season progresses, it is normal that he will not perform at the same level. He never played a season this long and with this much travel with back to back games. He will naturally get mentally and physically tired. I already see signs of it. He will lose his focus, which is easier on a team that does not have much of a system and focus. Also, other teams will be paying more attention to him, so he will have to work harder to do the same things.

I would be happy if he tries to excel his post-ups, limit his turnovers, get experience with guarding some of the bigger men, and develop chemistry with the rest of the team for the rest of the season. Don't really care much about the actual production, which will not be bad anyway. He can work on his body, 3pt shot during the summer. That does not mean that he should not take 3s. He should take them when it is correct to do so, but should not be worried that missing them will reduce his playing time.

Should be in Russia based websites.

What I suggest you : if you search Anadolu Efes-Kizilyildiz in YouTube you can watch first+second half around 31 minutes (the first one 12,the second one 18+ minutes). That would be the core of the battle.

    Good luck
