Wood is kind of a black hole as a passer. Once he decides he wants to score, he has blinders on.

Wood is still a good player but has flaws.

    But @hakeemthagreat says he’s a poor defender.

It's funny that his defense was said to be his biggest weakness. And he should only get better when he puts on more muscle and gets used to the game. Offensively he just needs to get a better hold on the ball and get used to the game. He is already special and he will be much better by the end of the season.

Barnes and Giddey are picked high enough to have superstar potential. #16 is supposed to be solid rotation player. If Sengun becomes a franchise type player, it will be THE steal of this draft, kind of like Kahwi Leonard. This is especially true because of the fact that we got the pick by trading up.

That said, this year's draft class looks to be one of the best in a long time. Several guys have legit chances of becoming superstars.

The reason why I singled out Toronto and okc is because I have great respect for Masai and Presti, and figured they would see the potential in Sengun. Not surprised that they weren’t wrong in who they ended up picking.

But OKC did pass on Sengun at #16 so they could stockpile more future firsts.

Even the goats can be wrong. But I do have more faith in his top 10 selections.

There's a slight difference when Sengun misses shots. He contributes in many other facets of the game.

It's funny, because that matches the eye test.

I've seen comments that he is a horrible individual defender, yet I've seen the exact opposite.

Some of his shuffling and contests on people on the perimeter are better than seasoned veterans.

Dude is a f*cking talent and just 19.

That was my second favorite play from Sengun last game. This was my favorite.

Yeah agreed. Sometimes his defensive moves are a bit unorthodox, a they look clumsy. But overall he is a very good defender. It reminds me a bit of D-Mo that way. D-Mo was also a very good defender, but every now and then he just looked clumsy.

I really do not understand why the scouts all thought he would be a terrible defender. I mean you can question whether he would be strong enough or fast enough. But the instinct is there to be at least a capable defender, even with lack of strength and speed. So Why was the consensus that he would be a terrible defender.
