That was a season long statistic .... but most of his opportunities came in the last 15 or so games. That makes the statistic even more impressive considering the lineups they were running out there the last month of the season - Lamb , Cam Oliver , Cam Reynolds , Khyri Thomas , Avery Bradley , DaQuan Jeffries all getting lots of minutes.
i thought all euros (cept boyband rubio) have range. like that's their default skill before developing others
thank you, i was aware it was a season long ...wanted to see how many times he really initiated ....was it more than 300 times? ... i guess it was less than 100 times... which makes it extremely small sample size...but still its pretty good ... i knew it just by my eye test that he often makes the right play... its nothting fancy but that kind of simple basketball is imho the best and most efficient i hope jalen green and kpj play with that attitude
yeah , they ran a G-League team out there the last couple weeks of the year .... It may have been 300 possessions , probably more than that over the course of the year .... I think he played 70 of 72 games. There was a long stretch of games where they only had two facilitators with KPJ & Tate who pretty much ran the second unit during that time & KPJ sat out a few games too which gave Tate more opportunities.
He just always makes the "right" pass. If the NBA had hockey assists he may lead the league. Love his style of play, reminds me of the good old days.
I was thinking that both of them has the experience on playing in the winning team (on Turkish and Australian league). That experience led them to have the feel (or maybe instinct is the right word?) to make winning plays. Of course great coaching and their hard work to learn are also factor to this. as much as i like to have the high draft pick for tanking, making winning plays for our young team is equally important for our future. maybe the best scenario is we lose a lot but by only with minimal margin and always make a comeback whenever we’re losing by big margin just like in the preseason. Lol.
He’s the best chance we have at running something that looks like an efficient offense. His presence opens up lanes for KPJ to run to the basket because they need to respect Sengun with the ball around the hoop. Should be the starter and get 30 minutes a night
Sengun should start at 5 or have him lead 2nd unit as point center. Leading 2nd unit allows him to be featured more prominently IMO. But he needs more minutes. PERIOD.
