The guy is right on. Wether or not you agree with his views or not, he sure does vehemently do his all to preserve the Bill of Rights and our Constitution. Bravo Senator! I am glad to have him representing me in DC.

I prefer him in the Senate where I think he can do more. Especially when they repugs win back the Senate and he may start being considered for Senate leadership. I have never seen anyone out debate him.

It is cool you like your guy, but you can't honestly believe this right?

He had a chance when republicans followed him down the repeal ACA or shutdown gov path. After that Cruz took a major blow, but he didn't stop there. He really pissed his FELLOW REPUBLICANS, when he threatened to filibuster for the debt ceiling vote, forcing everyone to put their name on a side.

That's cool if you think these are great moves for his cause, but now he has no friends...literally. At republican only senate meetings no one will sit with him. No one will is getting behind his deal. I suppose since he failed miserably at the cost of american tax payers on ACA, his new deal is the constitution...sweet!

This is a mark in his favor.

This isn't student council, they are there to represent us, not make friends.

The chumminess of our ruling class is not a good thing.

If everyone realized the only thing Ted Cruz will be is a back row grenade launcher and not a leader, then discussion about him will be more intelligent.

The Senate needs a few maverick fanatics to stir the pot. Cruz is born for that role. Higher office? Forget it.

Cruz understands that the way you get results is not by electing the right people or by personally persuading them to do the right thing.

The way you get results is by scaring the wrong people into doing the right thing. By speaking to voters, who in turn apply political pressure.

Well seeing as they didn't change their votes it was quite successful.

And scaring into voting a way is worse than any situation you are describing...especially since the right way is one persons way..AKA no democracy

I believe he can, since his mother was an American citizen at the time of birth, he just happened to be born in another country. But dear God I hope he is never president.

The reality of a democratic two-party system is that being out of favor with your party makes you worse than ineffective. You can bully pulpit all you want and play to the simple minds back home, but you won't get any of your ideas into law and you will lose perks and services for your state.

    Obstructionism is not leadership.

Nice post, Ted Cruz is 100% correct here. If the tables were turned this is all you would here about on the nightly news but alas there is mostly silence. Holder will not do his job again. Eric Holder is the worst AG in the history of this country by a long shot. Frankly he is a flat out embarrassment.

As usual Ted Cruz is totally off base. His reasoning is off, and after all of the partisan investigations that showed no validity at all to the scandal there is no rational reason for Holder to appoint a special prosecutor. But Cruz is just trying to rile people up despite the fact that he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Cruz is a joke and an embarrassment once again.

BOOM. Powerful truth. Cruz 100% correct.

Eric Holder has been a complete joke for years now.
