To clarify, I have no problem with the GOP candidate for US president being born to a Cuban communist in Canada.

I think a poll is in order...

I agree, there is just something strange about this guy you can see it in his eyes. Ted's father assisted Castro in getting Soviet nukes into the country so you know the communist manifesto was ingrained in young Cruz early.

Well I don't know that I would call Ted Cruz' dad a Communist, but it is a fact that Ted Cruz's Godfather is Che Guevara.

The dude wasn't born in the States. What does he think? That we're going to simply toss out the Constitution for his benefit?

I don't have to. Explain why Cruz can be president if he wasn't born in the United States, a US military base overseas, or an American embassy? Thanks in advance.

Are you disturbed that Cruz hasn't renounced his Cuban citizenship?

That is a concern. We are talking about President of the United States, I don't think we can risk electing someone not loyal to America by birth. We simply cannot risk a man with loyalties to another nation. It is sad his parents did not try harder to have him born in America. I am sure the Tea Party will be all over Cruz after giving Obama a hard time for being born in Hawaii. It would be terrible if this whole time the Birthers and Tea Party members used the "birth place" of Obama to cover their thinly veiled outrage that a black liberal was in the White House.

It's pretty clear Cruz has been influenced by Cuban radicals.

Has he ever given his position on the Cuban missile crisis? Yea I didn't think so...

    You didn't answer Deck's question.

And gifford knows it's a joke.

In Renouncing Canadian Citizenship, Ted Cruz Sounds Like A DREAMer

"Because I was a U.S. citizen at birth, because I left Calgary when I was four and have lived my entire life since then in the U.S., and because I have never taken affirmative steps to claim Canadian citizenship, I assumed that was the end of the matter."

Whether he sees the parallel or not, Cruz’s story underscores the surprise that undocumented youths who lived their entire lives in the U.S. feel when they find out that they are citizens of other countries. Many of these undocumented youths, or so-called DREAMers, only find out about their country of origin when they apply for their first government-issued identification or apply for college.

You can be as sarcastic as you like, but the fact remains that Cruz must conform to the Constitution if he wishes to become President.

BTW, does anyone know what kind of churches Ted was attending for four years in Calgary?

Explain yourself or I'll be forced to conclude that the difference in your reaction is racially motivated.

The Courts will decide the issue... To me I find the complete silence of the Birthers and Tea Party very telling...
