france i'm fine with, but when you come after denmark, homey's gonna kick some prophet ass...i mean, i can drink wine from california or australia (or the nice argentinian malbec i'm enjoying now), but i can't live w/o my DK ham and havarti...
who makes SAAB? I like Ikea, but the sofas are crap. I had one break. Maybe if they had USA themed sofa, we can send it over there to the middle east so they can burn it and say 'death to ikea' 'long live gallery furniture'
Fords are the worst cars in the world. before i get flamed by the ford explorer faithful here, read this: http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/06/16/ford.vehicles/index.html i owed a ford back in the day, so i know. man back in the day people loved american cars. i wanted a trans am because of knight rider. now i'm sticking to the losers of WW2, the germans and the japanese.
So, it boils down to you support the Muslims because you know they're right or you support the non-Muslims because you think they're right. I am going to say it now, there is no god but Allah, Mohammed is the messanger of Allah. So, I support the Muslims.
So are you saying that it's right to threaten to kidnap foreigners and shout "Death to Denmark" over what one newspaper did? Wow, you're no better than the hooded cowards with guns over there...
The hoods are apart of their historical military apparel, quit being so damn ignorant. And no, this does not justify kidnapping anyone. And as for "Death to Denmark", I've seen enough anti-arab, anti-Iraq, anti-Muslim, and and anti-Iran posters, flyers, chants, jokes, talking points, and campaigns that I think their actions are much tamer than even your own. Are you saying it's right to kill Iraqis or Iranians by missles?
Generalize much? Where did he state that? Also, are all Muslims who're protesting this cartoon wearing hoods and threatening attacks? We know the militants wear hoods and shout "Death to [whomever]", but do you honestly think that the only protests against these inflammatory cartoons are by militants? Be precise please so we know who you're referring to in your posts, you seem to be throwing around a lot of accusations here bigtexxx.
Precisely, my issue is with: 1) The hooded cowards with guns who are chanting "Death to Denmark" and threatening to kidnap foreigners 2) The Danish imam who fabricated information to start this whole issue over 5 month old cartoons I don't have a problem with religious people being upset over a depiction of their prophet. That's fine. But for crying out loud, get mad at the newspaper, not innocent foreigners and entire countries.
sticks and stone will break my bones, but cartoons can never hurt me...because they're ****ing cartoons!
The people do not have as widespread access to the internet, you know? Their economies do not have the infrastructure to support the scale like it is here. Remember when everyone was making a link with Al Qaeda and Saddam? The General populace when asked what they think of Muslim is terrorist. The idea is the same in middle eastern states. If the rumor is started the Danes as a nation support this cartoon, a serious sin, then you will get an angry populace. But thank you for posting the last part.
i think it sucks that islam can be perverted to encourage such violence so easily. it also sucks that it doesn't bring down the wrath of allah on all those who do or threaten harm, needlessly, in his name. don't wanna piss off the catholics too but, islam probably needs a reformation if it wants to coexist with the rest of the world.
Would you enjoy Jesus being portrayed as a male prostitute in the Bejing Daily? Doubtful, I bet you would have people like Pat Robertson calling for god to punish the Chinese people. It isn't likely, but the scenario would be the same.
You condemn Islam for violence? I forgot that Christianity and Judaism have almost the same punishments, it is only in the secular west where Christianity had to reform or become irrelevant. Also, the focus is not Allah's wrath, but Allah's blessings.
this kid in my programming class got suspended in highschool for drawing nude cartoons of the teacher.
