You know, if I had asked you last year, you probably would have told me that Palmer is a second rounder, right? Amazing what a year can do for someone.
actually, this is what i wrote about palmer on..... april 23, 2001: 'course.... i had no idea who david carr was when i wrote that and the gist of the article was about how the 2003 draft would be the texans' best chance to snare a franchise QB.... but yep, things DO change quickly, which is why nothing can be set in stone at this early stage. doesn't mean it's not fun to talk about....
