    We'll call it even on T-Mac. :D

He was right about Daniels but I don't see Swift play anywhere near All-Star calibre. If he was on the Suns, then he'd be a beast, but that's about it. Van Gundy's system doesn't do it for Swift and he's not getting it done for us, and T-Mac hasn't kept his promise to make him an All-Star. :(

In the NBA, Stro has never been a beast and never will. What you've seen in 6 years is what he is.

Carney really shriveled the last game in the tourney against UCLA. Everyone in that game shot bad but he was the worst, missed EVERYTHING until the last couple minutes. I'd still take him though!

Dont forget Tmac also chose to come play with Yao after seeing Yao in his second year....

when many still had questions if Yao had it in him...

lets hope Stromile can find the right role with the Rox... the half court Rox game dosent suit him well...unless he is playing as a undersized center....

I just read Carney's profile/scouting report, and it is alarming how the description of his game is almost identical to that of T-mac's. I watched Carney some in college his athelitikasim is unreal.

TMac was the guy who revommended Swift as a potential all star as well, not looks such a good recommendation.

You think he wouldn't be good on the Suns? I beg to differ. Everyone is good on the Suns... ;)

Except for Tskitishvili, that guy might as well just quit right now.

in t-mac's defense he didnt play in a lot of games this year to get a feel with stro and stro never got off jvg's bench. there were a few games in a row this year where t-mac and stro were playing and they both had great games (when yao was out)

i havent lost all faith in stro just yet, he wont ever be a 15/9 guy i just hope that he can give us like 9/6 and 1-2 blks off the bench. but we'll see

carney is a great pick too, but i dont know if we'll be duplicating players with him and t-mac i am still leaning towards in trying to get roy

Well, T-Mac really didn't have much time on the court with Stromile thus not being able to make anyone's job easier. I'm not saying Stro will ever play like an all-star ,but with a healthy Yao & T-Mac, Stro will definitly have a better chance

edit: whoa that was wierd we think alike at the same exact time

MJames isn't worth JHow's contract and why would Toronto want to pay JHow $$$ since they have the all-star Bosch at PF?

Tim Thomas has said he loves it in Pheonix and wants to stay there regardless of $$$

Swift has had 6 years. What you see is what you get. A so-so player.

If Sura even plays, he'll be a bench player at best. His knees and back are toast.

    More realistically.

    Sign Qyntel Woods.

    Trade Swift

    Shelden Williams

Don't bet the house that Sura makes it back.

look, just make sure Carney stays away from Macs personal trainer. That guy is out of it. He knows nothing about proper weight training for a basketball player. His guy Mac has the worst form you could have lifting heavy weights and he even has him running up and down stairs holding dumbells which is an
absolute no-no for a guy with a bad back. I like Carney though, he would be the best talent at the 10 spot. Rockets can't go wrong with that pick. Though if Roy, Gay, or even Reddick is still there, the decision won't be easy.

Juwan Howard is on a mid-level exception contract. He's not on his monster contract of old. You don't think Mike James is worth the mid-level?

As to why they'd want Juwan Howard when they already have Bosh and Villanueva, I have no idea either.

Yao should lend Falsone to Carney and McGrady, when he comes back from China. Yao has an amazing track record for durability until last year. He missed only a handful of games in his first 3 years.

Yes. He was drafted by the Nuggets with the #5 pick in 2002 who thought he could be the next Dirk, but all they got was a huge bust.
