What an embarrassing display Sony has just put on. That is laughable.

It seems the hackers may succeed in their goal of bringing Sony down. Theyre going to lose massive amounts of money from all of this bad press. Now was like the worst time to bail out. After they've exposed all of your ineptitude, you then bail on the movie? Sad, really.

The only thing that would save this, and I'm hoping this is the case, is if this was all still just a big hoax. That would be epic!

Would easily go down as the greatest troll/publicity stunt in recent history.

Damn, that's terrible. For shame, Sony.

That is what i was saying, what if it is all a hoax?? The actors/actresses could have staged the emails but leaking Fury is the only thing that makes me question it.

Sony only cancelled it after 3 major theater chains covering the majority of the release had already withdrawn the movie. If you want to blame anyone for being weak, it would be the theater chains. The release at this point would have been fairly small. Probably more logical for Sony to let the FBI do its work and then try to do a full release early next year.

Times for the movie still show up on Fandango but that could just be delayed.

This whole situation could have been prevented if they just made up a fake nation and dictator based on a composite of all of the authoritarian regimes (including North Korea) that have existed. There was no need to put North Korea in there IMO. It wasn't necessary.

Franco/Rogen try to assassinate a Kim Jong Un

vs. Franco Rogen try to assassinate a generic dictator.

    There is nothing lost

    Let's hack the hackers!

In 70 years, my grandchildren will be reading about how World War 3 got started by a movie made by Seth Rogen and James Franco, coupled with a bunch of Muslim terrorists join together with this communist nation that the movie was about.

Wonder what the US government will do about it. NK committed a terrorist hack on a US company and have threatened an attack on US soil.

Maybe we can use Cuba as an ally in our fight against North Korea!

This is a bit ridiculous, though, but I am very curious to see what the US says about the crime committed against a US business. It also probably doesn't help things considering Sony is largely based in Asia. Although we've been doing much of the same to them for years, I'm sure...

Very curious to see Rogen and Franco's comments as well.
