[Carmichael Dave] Houston the favorites to sign Kuzma

I love the post. I am glad to know that we can rely on you to tell us what GMs are thinking… Just troll with an appeal to authority and not address the point that, if we are going to try to pay Kuzma $25 miilion, I would prefer Mo Bamba at $5 Million. Kuzma is an inefficient chucker who expects $25 million per year- probably for 3-4 years. Kuzma would also take minutes away from other players like Tari Eason. I think the whole Kuzma news is an attempt by his camp to drive up demand to get the $100 million contract. I don’t blame him, but I don’t see the value.

 

Kuzma sucks, he’s the exact type of signing we should be avoiding at all costs. He brings nothing to the table, inefficient scoring is the most useless “skill” in the league

 

Kuzma does suck and not worth it. That said, Bamba at $5 million is also a giant waste. He's a nothing and multiple teams/gms have demonstrated that. He's not worth a 10-day my dude.

 

You are probably right on Bamba, but that $5 million won’t stop good signings or trades from happening.

I like him too - but not for this team. We already have a lot of guys who want to score without playing defense.

What does he provide that the team doesn't have? Poor defender. Inefficient volume scorer with awful advanced stats. If I wanted to give $30 million to a volume scorer who can't defend and is a mediocre playmaker, I'd go ahead and give it to Green now, who's already a better player than Kuzma at 21. Kuzma's crazy overrated. I'd easily rather have FVV or Brooks, and that's saying something since I don't like Brooks.
