They are just messing with people now. I get it though. He is playing these fools and that foolish GM they have over there. Carmello will balk every deal they have in place just when they think they have it done and he knows they wont do a trade to a West team. So he will go into this season a Nugget and finish as a Nugget but ultimately become a Knick and they will be screweddddDDD. Just like Toronto and just like Cavs. I gurantee thats what happens. Carmelo is smart. He wants Knicks and he is gonna get Knicks unless they call his bluff on houston. I dont see that happening because they fear him in the West. Or he caves and does go to New Jersey.

Camp Carmelo seems to be hoping really, really, bad that NY pulls off some sort of miracle maneuver to trump the Nets trade. Both he and Denver are getting greedy and in danger of letting the best offer they're going to see go poof.

I agree - the PG is only going to need to hand the ball off to Anthony and set up for a catch and shoot 3. Augustin and Farmar would both be fine in that limited role. It's pretty much all Farmar did in LA. Harris is/was overrated - below average distributor and inefficient shooter.

I'm not so sure about that. Boozer is a top 5 PF, IMO. Superstar no, star yes.

Jefferson's pre-injury stats look similar to Boozer's, but he took a dive last year. And part of Boozer's great fit in the Utah system was how well he worked in the high post. Jefferson isn't nearly as mobile or well-rounded as Boozer and doesn't have Boozer's mid-range jumper.

Boozer left Utah cold, Minnesota had been trying to better deal Jefferson for a good calendar year and was happy to send him to Utah w/o much at all in return, content to go with a Love/Darko tandem. That should speak volumes.
