    Clearly sending a message to Morey that the salary cap and LT line should not get in the way of your roster moves! :p

    I still don't get the huge difference...
    • Paul George re-signs = Chris Paul re-signs
    • Jerami Grant re-signs = Capela re-signs (he will)
    • Ray Felton re-signs = lulz
    • ADD Noel = ADD MCW
    • ADD Schroeder = ADD Melo
    • ADD TLC = ADD Ennis
    • Move Melo off the books. = ok, they got us on this one
    I agree, we could have kept Ariza. But if we did, then we clearly are having a better year than OKC. Even without the Ariza resigning, we are no worse than even...assuming we sign Melo and Capela.

    I was expecting the small market OKC team get crushed by the LT and they aren't. Just the optics.

    I want to see the Rockets find an Ariza replacement (likely via the Anderson 20M salary slot).

    laugh if you want, but fatty is a solid backup PG. Perhaps better than MCW. But time will tell. I will give MCW some time and see if Bzdelik can turn him him into a plus player.

    Eh, mostly agree with this, but it avoids the fact that the Rockets took a step back in talent, while the Thunder upgraded. They also will be getting Roberson back, who is very important for them.

    They look like the 3 seed to me, and they maximized their offseason much more than we have. Doesn't make them better than us, but I think it's closer than we'd like to admit. Losing Melo alone will be huge for them.

    If he's healthy, I think MCW will work out pretty well off the bench. He's got the body to match up with Klay T. and on the drive, MCW can finish (career .556 at the rim) or make the pass. He will get those Shawn Livingston like looks: lots of space, size mismatch, you can't help or you'll give up a 3. And if Livingston is in the game, MCW can compete.

    I think you put MCW out there with another shooter (pick one: Harden, CP3, or Gordon) and he fits right in. Let MCW initiate the PnR, see what kind of help emerges, and turn him loose to drive.

    The Lifetime Athletic at Sky video was from sometime in summer 2017...
