Teams that trade for Dwight are to some degree delusional. That is true, though both can be more effective, Melo even more so which is why he's such a frustrating loser to have on your team. He could be such a great role player, if just accepted that. I do think with how selfless Harden & CP3 are, the friendship with CP3 and how he affected Harden could rub off on Melo. He could accept that spot up shooting role and he can still get his touches, but has to commit to the team, not his ego.

if Melo does indeed get a full buyout of his contract I really hope he is willing to sign with Houston for the vet min leaving the the MLE to hopefully sign someone else or get Melton on a larger deal as a 2nd rounder but thats team friendly.

I wonder how we can incorporate Melo in the Offense thats could be really cool to see.

Defensively....you know uhh...well Jeff do your thing. That poor man looked so stressed during last season haha

Ok. I'm taking an L for that. I obviously haven't been paying attention to Dennis Schroeder and his career. I thought he was nice a few years ago.

Same, he was hyped up for a bit and literally ran Jeff Teague out of Atlanta. Guess I’m late

Was Sefalosha a game changer? Is Andre Roberson a game changer? Your expectations are subjective to your definition of the phrase "game changer". I think he'll be their starting sg by the end of the season

Golden State works because they all play off the ball, all can handle the ball, all can shoot the ball (with 3 elite shooters) and can almost all defend.

Houston won't be anything like that. Melo can shoot, but he's not a great shooter. Harden can shoot, but he's streaky. None of them do much off the ball and Harden and Melo can't defend.

Heaven forbid we put Beard, Chris, Melo, and EG out there together. The scoreboard may melt down when they are all clicking.

I think @BimaThug mentioned signing him with part of MLE so (1) have some type of rights with him next year & (2) being able to offer more $$$ next season IIRC
