Carmelo Anthony cannot lead Knicks to title - Broussard ESPN

    I think you meant to say that just like every other player ever in the NBA, he can't get to the finals if JR Smith is your #2.

    Hey at least the Knicks got Felton back, right? Totally makes the trade look that much better.

    But seriously, I'm in total agreement here. Melo is getting his comeuppance. He created this roster. He wanted JR (and his brother), Amare. He resented Lin so he shipped him off. Basically, Melo is playing the role of Isiah here. He probably already tried to get Eddy Curry back on the team to fill in for Chandler, but found out Chris Smith is taking up the roster spot.

    I've wondered this too. Gonna guess that it's a combination of him being an endomorph and eating too much. He's certainly not fat or out of shape compared to the average person, but I think he is compared to the rest of his profession. It must take A LOT of calories to offset being a male 29 yr old 6'8 230lb professional athlete. Maintenance would be at minimum 4000/kcal day.
