Ive been critical of McGrady in the past, but Melo is way overrated. He cant pass like Mcgrady. All he can do is fill it up. Other than score what else can he do? He rebounds pretty well, but so does McGrady.

everyone seems to be critical of us obtaining Melo.

my view is no way it happens, as we would have to package Tmac in any deal.

but cmon, dudes saying that they wouldnt want him EVEN IF he would join Yao and McGrady??!!

    Alston
    McGrady
    Melo
    Scola
    Yao

the guy is obviously a head case, and his recent dui isn't going to help the nuggets get rid of him. w/o considerations on salary cap, the only guys i'd give up for him would be luther head, aaron brooks, rafer alston, and a first round pick. again, that's just basic w/o money considerations. i got too much to do to try and figure out what salaries match up

Take the Dolerean from "Back to the future" movie and get all of them in their prime...is that better?

i rather get artest than anthony. i believe that artest has matured the past 2 years compared to melo who is still young, immature and stuck-up!

hes very young and just needs a good knock on his head. he still shoots 50% from the FG and is still a promising star

Anthony>Artest, since Anthony is like six years younger and would (hopefully) be here longer (with the rest of our young talent).

Anthony does not > Artest. Just because a player is younger does not mean he is better or will ever be better..... Kwame Brown was considered to be really good and everyone thought he > all other players. Look where he is now....

True. Artest would be great for a three to five year window with who we currently have. You would have to probably develop Carmelo more over a season.

    CARMELO is an OVERRATED/OVERPAID TMAC!!

If you complained about TMAC not getting his team pass the first round.

    GOOD LUCK WITH CARMELO

Is not just about wanting him on your team but ALSO THE MONEY HIS WANTS!

would be a WASTED to spend $15-17mil on him like ORLANDO paid R. LEWIS

I don't think Denver really want to trade Melo. They just want to give him a warning and hope he can work harder next season.
