Part of the reason why they couldn't use Nene is because Melo hogged all the shots, the same way he's hogging all the shots in NY right now.

All Melo did in his rookie year is get caught appearing in a don't snitch campaign. The Nuggs got other pieces like Nene, Kmart and Camby when they acquired Melo. He contributed, but its not like he went LBJ on the Nuggs.

Melo and Amare are a far cry from LBJ/Wade/Bosh. They make about the same amount of money combined though, which is why Mel and Amare won't go anywhere in the league. Don't forget Amare is turning 30; they DON'T have the time you speak off.

We do have stars. I count three: KM, Lowry and PP has been playing like one. And I'd rather have any of them than Melo making 18-20M a year.
