He can come back for the room exception, which is about $5M over 2 years. Not too bad compared to the $3M 1-year deal he had remaining on his contract. But if we actually land Dwight, then we can probably find better players for the room exception. The more star power a team wields, the cheaper those Ring Chasers become.
thank you carlos, great work i think that morey will try to sign him, but with this good season he will be in other place.
Last season I prayed for his successful 3-point shots listening to this song. Hope to see him again as a Rocket. Spoiler <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/GXo8elTdY8g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sad to see Charles Dolphin is not a Rocket. Hopefully once all the dust settles we can sign him back!
Delfino dunk over Durant was fantastic BTW Daryl Morey: Thank you to @cabezadelfino & @Thirty2zero, you both have been great Rockets, players & teammates. Hope there is a chance to reunite Twitter @dmorey Maybe Delfino and Brooks sign again after Howard is on board
I didn't want to see this thread. Until Delfino signs with another team I am going to hold out hope he returns. Loved what that guy brought to the court. He was just fun to watch, and played great in this system. Solid solid player on offense and defense -- nothing great, just solid as all get out. Plus that great enthusiasm he has. Yeah, I'm hoping to see him back on the veteran's minimum. I am sure if he doesn't get any good offers post foot injury that Morey would love to bring him back in. We could really use him at the three still.
http://www.ole.com.ar/basquet/da-Carlos_0_948505269.html It is in Spanish, so you may have to translate it. The gist though is that there is still some interest from Delfino in Rockets. It says specifically if Dwight does not sign, but, based on what sort of contract offers Delfino gets and what the Rockets decide to do with their Room Exception -- perhaps he can come back even if Howard is signed. I'm hopeful.
Cabeza del3no, just want to express my appreciation! You are great! Hope to see you back in Houston. How Can I forget! <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CbW3aAeUFiA?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He bailed the team out a few times. On top of my head, that game against the Nets in Brooklyn where his dagger 3s late in the 4th quarter killed the Nets' momentum.
