[rant]I hate how they drag out these awards/rankings shows. Just give me the winners/rankings and then you can talk all hour long. Good grief. [/rant]

    Congrats to Carlos!

imagine how much better he can be with more confident swings.

Imagine how good he would be if McHale wasn't coaching.

The 2 guys that voted Lindor third don't know much about baseball.

Mike Harrington, Buffalo & Brian Golden, Los Angeles voted Lindor third.

Hideo Kizaki(Seattle) did not vote for Lindor.

I just want us to have one good defensive game. Show me they are at least capable of playing good defense.

Jones just doesn't have good court awareness.

Personally, I think the race was too close. Correa impacted his team enough to get them into the playoffs; Lindor did not. On a random note: someone should change the title of the thread to Correa wins Rookie of the Year or Correa is Consensus ROY.

I could be wrong, but I believe Cleveland had a better record with Lindor than the Astros did with Correa - they just sucked much more in the first couple of months without him. If you look at it that way, he actually improved his team's overall performance more than Correa. The Astros, oddly, actually were worse post-Correa than pre-Correa.

Correa is going to be an All Star, and probably a Hall of Famer, but one thing i am sure, if we had Lindor in our team, our 3b was going to be Mr. Correa.

It's relevant. He's making the point that Lindor is superior defensively (at least this season), which is true. if you have both of them on the same team, you gotta move Correa to 3B.

But they're not both on the same team.... and they're not going to be on the same team any time soon.

If I had a time machine, and I could bring Adam Everett of 2005 or Ozzie Smith of the 80's back to now, they'd all be playing 3B.

Correa is this team's SS... and no amount of Bregman or Lindor or mythical unicorns is going to change that until he's a liability at that position.
