Why not? He pretty much just played the masonry role that Trevor Ariza has played most of the year.

The Pacers shouldn't be having 35 point quarters, period - they're the Pacers. They shouldn't be getting 125 points in a game. Bricking shots leading to points on the other end is a cop-out. You're telling me anytime one of your scorers has a bad shooting game, you automatically give up 125 points to one of the worst teams in the league? Please. Tonight wasn't an offensive collapse. This team needs to find its defense.

Carl averaged 6.38 ppg in the 4th quarter for us. I think among Luis, Aaron, Kevin Martin (a potential 20+ ppg scorer) and the others, we can replace that. This isn't even counting a hopefully healthy Yao's scoring. The hardest thing to replace will be Carl's efficiency at scoring, but again, this can probably be overcome for a quarter.

Why not playing as a team and passing the ball? That should not be that hard! All good teams do it ( not many good teams on the NBA though) AB is a guard and his main concern should be passing the ball and making life easier for his teammates ( which he rarely does). Kevin Martin is a ball hog and his basketball IQ is minus 10 ( I've watched a lot of frustrating Sacramento games in the past... the guy thinks he's the only one on the court).
Ariza is not a good shooter buy he can create off the dribble (too bad he has no court vision).
Scola is a team leader and even in the Argentine National team the ball goes to him or Manu in crunch time. He does not get plays called for him in this team and the guards look to shoot rather than pass so it's very hard for him to be a factor.
However, the players you just considered are all capable of scoring but the ball has to move for that to happen. That's basketball. The one on one's and all tha crap is video games stuff and the reflection of the lack of fundamentals and basketball IQ so common in most young/not so young American players.
