Carl Landry please ink a deal, we love you and need you in a non gay way

Landry was so very solid last season.

But, if him not signing means that Hayes and Dorsey take on extra responsibility, the Rockets should still be a contender.


But, Landry has a lot of potential to be a good good player for years to come.

 

Will we have enough money to sign Artest next year if we want him? What if we dont sign Landry will we have enough? What if we do?

 

It doesn't matter if we sign Landry or not.

Noxt year if we want to sign Artest we will be able to pay him how much we want and give him the bigger soffer and it won't affect the MLE because we have his bird rights.

For the last couple of weeks I click on the GARM every morning in hope of seeing Carl Landry inks a deal. Damn, this was the first thread, and I saw Carl Landry ink...sigh. That is the only bit of news that I am hoping for before preseason starts in 17 days.

9/29, I bet anything it happens by then. It has to.

 

Is it too late for him to go to Europe now?
Why isnt there any NBA team signing him to an offer sheet yet?

The most important thing for Landry is to fire his agent.

 

you have to explain how we can pay him ten 10 mil a year? we wont have that much room on the cap unless we move others around via trades and such.

if we dont resign franchise and dont resign landry to a multi year contract then we would have around 8-9 mil a year for him. but if he plays well he already said he wants 10 mil or more. that 1-2 mil could be a stopper?

 

I am pretty sure you can sign your own player. The only thing is it would put us well into luxury tax.

I am not even sure if we should resign Ron. He may be able to put together one good year but he won't go the rest of his career trouble free.

 

Second to that. The title was stupid, and the thread simply neglect how many people here, including me obviously, have already get sicken tired of the whole stuff. We DON'T CARE he signs or not at all.

I don't think Rockets need a Center, they can use Scola for Center. The reason they need Motombo is insurance in case Yao is injured. So if Yao is not injured...then expect Motombo to get zero minute.
