Carl Landry Has been putting up big PER numbers for 3 years now. He led the league in PER his rookie year. No doubt about it Carl Landry is underrated and for the most part under the radar only true fans know and appreciate his game.

It's Funny becuase Landry is overshadowed by are other underrated PF Scola.
If Landry can develop a three ball he could be an All Star. His Post game is very dangerous has a nice mid range jumper and his hops are not fully recovered.

And Yes this Year Landry is better than Amare.

Not to mention his rebounding is also very good. And I think he 's good defender that can only get better. Remember that game winning block against Utah in the playoffs. The guy has the potential . The Rockets know, there just trying to keep him under the radar as much as possible.

I wish landry would expand his game beyond the arch , then he'd be very very dangerous.

If you said top 10, the you'd have a case, top 5, there is no case to be made. Not talking about his career, taking abou this year, a lot of water/injuries/trade demands have passed under the bridge since 07.

The not starting argument is not a defense, ginobli never started either, can you not compare him with other staters?

Given more chance ,carl could develop into an all-star level player.

His potential is so amazing, look this guys in the past 3 years,he has changed into a versatile player successfully.at the early stage it seems that this boy can only dunk ,but step by step,he developed his mid-range jump shooting, and right now we all see his full confidence against anyone in the league and great leadership in this team.

I don't wanna compare amare with carl, they are totally different players in spiritual level.and also we don't have a PG like nash do.anyway it is a good chance for carl to learn how to creat opportunities instead of assisted by PG.
along with yao next season.we will have more players who can creat his own shooting chance ,like carl ,louis, yao ,trevor,we would be unbeatble, and more aggressive for the championship.

Landry is only one year younger than Amare. (excuse me, Amar'e  ) And no one's talking about Amare having more upside. Landry can get better by getting more minutes, finally playing as a starter outside his reserve spot and getting to expand his game. But then he could be like Ariza expanding on his game doing too much, though I dont see that much deviation if he were a starter.

The one area he can improve the most is defense.

He's moved ahead of Paul Millsap, still has a ways to go to catch Amare.

Nash is past his prime. I say he has maybe 3 good years left before he is just another point guard. Morey seems to be into building a great team over time, not going for the gold with one move. Phoenix would never give him up with the kind of start to the season they have had.
