We're clearly Marvin Williams-ing him. Don't show your hand until you have to. For all you Simmons readers out there, Milton Berle rule applies: only pull out just enough to win. Our opponents don't need to see Landry if they can't even get within 10 of us without him.
LOL Reminds me of this: Panicked Man: (gesturing wildly at a man sprawled on the floor) Aren't you going to pump his stomach? Doctor: (calmly) No. Panicked Man: (hysterically) Why not?? Doctor: Because people with broken legs usually don't LIKE having their stomachs pumped. (name the movie, win the 'I AM ULTRA COOL FOR THE WEEK' award)
Hope so. I keep bringing this up, but it remains true that the Hawks are one of the three only teams to beat LA since the Gasol trade. I hope our fans don't expect this one to be that easy. Board could go nuts if we lose.
Hawks has a lot of talent but will not endure that defensive tactics like Rockets does. So relax and chill your brewski before the game and watch how we wrap the 20th win! GO ROCKETS!
This Hawks team is gonna give us trouble ! I think we will win but its not gonna be a blow out. They play very well in Phillips Arena and they are very athletic ! Go Rockets !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Landry probably could play, but why risk it. I am sure he will be back by Laker's game. Rockets will definitely need his energy and strong finish at the basket.
We need 100% health Landry. It is more important than a winning game. By the way, without Yao and Landry, we are still a tough team.
The Lakers just lost the other night at home vs. the Kings w/o Bibby (obviously). If we lose, we lose. My point is other "elite" teams are playing at full strength, dropping to losing teams at home. We could easily do the same on the Road w/o Yao and Landry, but... NAH!!!
