    That sounds like one of those random activities they do in gangs to get "in the gang" I read that they have to either try to kill someone, hit someone with a car, or get beat up by their fellow members. I guess Carl was the unlucky one, no one he'd be in a gang.

    i feel that way about Yao because his injuries are broken bones but not twac if tracy would have got a flesh wound he would be out at least 2 years.

    The sky is falling, or the world is coming to an end. This is ridiculous.

    I guess NBA players are targets just like everyone else. Remember the Paul Pierce incident? Dude was stabbed eight or so times, but ended up returning about a week later.

    Get well Carl. Greatness is not what you accomplish, but what you overcome.

    This news is shocking, whenever things start to look good for the Rockets someone has to get injured, and it's even more ridiculous that this time it's a gun.

    HOUSTON - FOX 26 Sports has learned that Houston Rockets forward Carl Landry has been shot in an early morning incident.

    Investigators say that at approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, someone shot toward Landry multiple times with one gunshot wounding his calf.

    Authorities have confirmed to FOX 26 that Landry's vehicle was sideswiped before he was shot and injured from the flesh wound.

    Landry was treated and released from a hospital and is not expected to miss the remainder of the Rockets season as a result of the injury.
