    i dont know, sounds weird, he wasnt exactly taking one for the team, but for himself and the woman too i guess. Just seems too unbasketball related to put on a sign.

    Two points: how do you miss the 6 foot 8 landry on the first shot and only hit him in the leg on the second one?

    second: I have heard that if you get hit late at night like that you shouldnt stop and just keep driving. Supposedly there was a gang initiation going on where they would hit people on purpose. The person would check the damage and the future gang member would kill they person when they got out of their car.

    Glad Carl is generally ok now. Couldnt imagine another Sean Taylor moment

    those were touched on already, one poster said the gang initiation was a later revealed to be a rumor, although i guess now they may be considering it since it made the news...

    And i mentioned that perhaps they were warning shots so he would stay still and comply with what they demanded, they didn't count on him running and when he did they're planned robbery was screwed so they left.

    He should move to a townhouse in Memorial or something so he can be much safer and still be relatively close to downtown if he doesn't want to move far out to be safe.

    He's going through a very difficult time right now. I'm sitting here and imagining it happening to me and it's just scary thinking about it. It's going to take a while for him to recover mentally from this horrific incident. God I hate all this stupid gang crap.

    I hope you get better soon Landry. Good thing it wasnt anything too serious. Ive been shot at before too but good thing I didnt get hurt at all
