you could be right but the tactic on how they were gonna try to rob him was the way MS-13 does it.
2 hispanics in all black bumps his truck then attempt a robbery.

Wow, I'm shocked! Landry and the Rockets have been playing extremely well lately. I hope he has a speedy recovery not just for the team, but for his health. That's a scary having to go through.

Wish Landry all the best and a speedy recovery. I feel a little guilty because when I first heard Landry was shot the first thing running through my mind was "What else could happen to this team?" Then I snapped out of it and realized he was shot and felt bad. Glad to hear he'll be back and it's only 1-3 weeks out.

Really unfortunate.

 

Good side of this terrible thing is Landry has 2 weeks to have a rest,maybe God wanna him to save energy for the playoffs, we need him so much at that time!

Damn I was shocked when I heard this. But hes so lucky, cause he is only out 1-3 weeks. They said he went to get some food and then a car came and hit him, when he went outside one of the guys in the car came out adn shot twice at him. One missed and the other got him in the leg. But the dumbasses left the car at the scene hahahah. So there done for. Now I wish Landry a very speedy recovery!!!!

 

I'm finding that female and prostitute are nearly synonymous on ClutchFans.

 

Dam the streets are dangerous at night. I guess You have to watch your back and surroundings no matter what. I'm glad Landry's still alive and nothing too major. Hopefully his leg heels as expected. Must have been a B B gun or something 1-2weeks?

 

i think prostitutes would be trying to lay low, not start working the next night. Landry would be specially careful about that, or i hope he would.

 

after the initial shock, I have more questions than answers:

1) Two shots were fired in the dead middle of night, I am sure sleeping residents nearby would've been woken up by now, why didn't anybody call 911 right away?

2) If nobody called, is it because middle night shooting happens too often there? is it because local residents have no faith in Houston PD, presuming reporting is a waste of time from their prior experience?

3) a civ honda striking a SUV, twice??? and the 2nd time both made a U=turn to play chicken on the street, but the SUV came out at the losing end. WTF?

 

I think he's just lucky/they were bad shots. Looks like they missed the first shot completely and the second one was only a graze, not a full penetration. I'm so glad Landry is alright, I was about to be piiiiissssed when I opened this thread this morning.
