Carl Landry assaulted, shot in the leg (out 1-2 weeks)

yeah, my fault, didn't see the article..

 

My house has been shot at before, and I know for a fact it messes you up. I was scared to go to sleep for almost a year, and Carl's situation is only 100x worse. They were chasing him with a gun.

 

i agree this is very fishy. it had to be a setup. landry knew she was a gold digger.

 

oh man I just hope he's ok and is able to resume his great play. He's a vital part of this team...

 

+1. I only woke up to gunshots in the street (neighbor shooting at a carjacker) and it still scared me for a few months.

 

What I want to know is why the f couldn't the girl call 911?! Why did Carl have to go banging on neighbors' doors for help?

 

does anyone know what Landry's REAL myspace page is? I ask because i've seen "him" post comments on this girl's page who's a friend of a friend. And I think he had other hispanic female friends as well. Of course that may just be a coincidence and he may be a fake, but for him to be chased down and the girl not to be injured, it's possible the guys maybe knew the girl, it would explain how they knew where he'd be and that he was leaving his home at that time. Maybe the girl's brothers or friends.

dude, it doesnt say she DIDNt call 911, maybe she did. Think about it. You exit your vehicle, go away from the door to check out the damage and they start shooting, if you go back inside they'll kill you before you can probably close the door or drive off. He probably saw them running at him and he took off, once he took off he had to try and get help, what else could he do? Maybe he left his phone inside, or maybe he'd rather try to get inside of a home that outside dialing on a phone while the guys chase him. You never know how you'll react in a situation like that until it happens.

Carl needs to move to a safer neightborhood. It's not like that he can't afford it.

 

We still haven't ruled out the idea that this was intentional and set-up, though. It might not just be random neighborhood shenanigans.

 

I know lol, but i think it's fair to say he was targeted. If you hit a car, you're not going to turn around unless you want more trouble or want to leave your insurance info, and i'm pretty sure they didn't leave their insurance info....

Next, if they just wanted to rob him, why not take the girl hostage? What better way to get him to give up his money? Even if she was just some w**** anyone who follow landry knows he isn't going to let her die over money. so that tells me it wasnt just a robbery. Especially if they didn't even take the car and left theirs.

 

i think it has a better ring if i say:

I will say i hope they release more details, maybe a sketch, etc. I grew up in the east end and still live there, which is the closest predominantly hispanic area to landry's neighborhood, so i'd be happy to turn them in if i recognize them....
