    The woman was lucky that the gunmen didn't go after her. Maybe she wasn't the person they were targeting but I would think if they wanted to carjack the SUV, they would have carjacked it after Landry ran away on the foot. I don't know if this was related to gang activity.

    Other than that, Landry is FINE. That's all it matters.

    Lol those guys must have been out of shape to have been outrun by a one legged Carl Landry

    I am calm. I guess we need to find out more about this woman first, but are you telling me that if that was you, would you up and leave your friend/gf/wife in a situation like that to try to save yourself only?

    On Lance & John this morning, a guy reported a man beating on his door to open up in that area. He didn't know who it was, so he didn't open the door. :eek:

    obviously if its a girl he really cares about he wouldve made sure she was okay, but it sounds like the two guys were targetting carl landry and landry only. so hell yea. girl was probably a gold digger anyways.

    It's hard to blame the neighbor though. If you were in that situation and someone came banging at your door that late saying they had been shot and you didn't know who it was, would you open the door? Tough to judge in that situation.

    It could have been worse... Thank God it is not that serious... I hope he recovers fast...

    I read something about that kind of stragegy before somewhere... I know somebody that works here in the medical center that became a victim of that. The guy bumped her car from the back, after she got out of her car to inspect the damage, the guy pointed a guy at her and stole her car, wallet, cellphone, and other belongings. This happened last year close to Rice University... So take care you guys... It is really scary now to be outside late at night...
