Caris LeVert on the Rockets

We have more than enough time to test drive Levert before sending him else were. We should see what we have before we just send him off to Indiana. Levert has value and is under contract.

 

Turner is locked in for 2 more years after this season

 

I know, but you don't want to wait until he's expiring in order to get back some good value, also cause he isn't exactly a great player to begin with.

 

Damn, chuck just said that oladipo is refusing to play with the Rockets? Is that just him talking out of his *** or is there something to this?

You’re right about his value. The wing has a very nice contract, considering his production and age. Signed a 3 year extension going into effect this season and averaging $17.5 million per year. With Oladipo, a better player if healthy (looks like he’s nearly there) making $21 million on a deal expiring at the end of the season and, from what I’ve read, wanting to be elsewhere, we should be keeping LeVert. There’s an reason the Pacers would love to have him. We’re not keeping LeVert, apparently. :-(

 

What if all the media reports are wrong. We are actually getting LeVert, not Oladipo?

Levert is better than Olidapo. Olidapo does not want to play in Houston like Harden, better get Levert

It's a separate trade for some reason so this Nets trade will have to clear first THEN the Oladipo trade can take place so it could be some time until we see Oladipo.

 

I don’t see rockets accepting the trade without getting Dipo. They wanted him instead of leVert because they can have Dipo off the books next year.

Nobody wants to play for Tillman...All I want for Christmas is a new Rockets owner! Tillman is way overleveraged should've never been allowed to buy a basketball team. We'll squalor in suckitud until he's replaced!

I wouldn’t agree that LeVert is better..... than Oladipo. Both are coming off injuries and yeah, if the reports about Dipo not wanting to be in HOU are true, that sucks. I wouldn’t say talent wise that LeVert is the better player tho
