With Oswalt on the mound and a comfortable lead, hopefully he can cruise through the game. Now we just need the Reds to help us out a little bit. With the power they have, they can easily come back from a few run deficit, they just can't get too far behind.

    wow nice play!

Renteria grounded one off of Roy, which Viz ran over and barehanded in time to throw the runner out at first.

this kind of attitude leads to 7 run ninth innings by the other team.

ok, if Beltran jacks one here, we can start talking about tomorrow.

edit: sorry, a triple's not good enough.

They do just enough to tickle your balls. Then they walk away laughing.

i like getting into their bullpen early- maybe it will help us in the next 2 games.

yea yea... Burn em... I would love to see us abuse their bullpen, which just may fear them into having to use their other starters a little longer .

Damn, maybe I'm just greedy but I would have liked to see Beltran come home, he was on 3rd with no outs and was stranded.

    Cubs-2 - Reds-1
Come on Cincy lets pull it out.

is there anything sweeter than watching your team have a blowout lead...even though there is no suspense left in the game?

7 -1 cubs. Oh well, with Zambrano on the mound I think this was a game you had to expect them to win.

I guess our bullpen pitchers just love being on t.v. because they painfully prolong too many games.

Great win! man, this game was very exciting. I think maybe Lane should get more playing time, but perhaps from Biggio's time. Although it was great to see Biggio get out of his slump tonight.

Great great game. I love seeing this offense click....now we just need dem pesky scrubies to lose.
