Yeah it's sold out. Couple of my regulars came in and said they couldn't get tickets when they went up to the stadium. Guess it's good for me they are drinking here.

Cedeno has always hit Roger... that's why he's batting 3rd.

Just one of the many instances in baseball where, for some reason, a mediocre batter beats an all-star pitcher very often.

See Bob Euker vs. Sandy Koufax.

    TIE GAME.....

I think Clemens is done for tonight....it looks really hot in there.

    4-4 game. 2 out HR.

    He's around 90 something pitches I think....

If Clemens gets out of this inning, he's gonna give Ed Rapuano a piece of his mind...

He thought those pitches to Cedeno should have been good enough, and its obvious he wasn't paying Rolen the attention he deserved.

am i the only one who knew after all the meeting at the mound stuff that rolen was going deep on the first pitch? it just seemed like clemens was gonna throw a fat one right over the plate and lo and behold he did.

can't believe clemens didn't get that inside pitch call.

We have to get the bats swinging again now.

btw... this feels like an Astros playoff game again.

I think Clemens will be good to go in the 7th... then you pinch-hit for him in the 8th. (unless Phil is gonna do a double-switch with Morgan and Lamb).

EDIT: n/m... Roger's done... probably "saving" him is in mind with this decision.

damn, can we bring this umpiring crew back for the colorado series for any close calls at the bases?

i know the whole "the ball beat the runner to the bag" theory dierker pointed out but he looked pretty damn safe live (and really safe on the replay) and you figure with the throw having to be brought to the bag by kent we wouldn't get the call.

    but i'll take it.
