Of course things wouldn't have gone the same, but it'd be nice to have 9 outs and only 2 runs to make up rather than 9 and 4.

I saw that ... it was funny .... It was windy and cool last night, and you could tell that guy felt the same.

No, course not, that's not what I was trying to say. We would have played the game differently though if they hadn't. For example, bringing in Lidge instead Harville, etc. and probably would have pinch hit for Ausmus or Vizcaino.

Nice way to start the game Redding!!

first man up, first K for Redding!

EDIT: Tim gets ahead 0-2 then allows the guy to fight back for a full count.....HR.

    First man: Strike out
    2nd man: HR
    3rd man: Double.

Not looking too good right now....

    and yet.....

TIM with another Strike out....and the next batter you ask?! HR. 2 run HR to the crawford boxes again.

2 HR for the birds in the first and it still isn't over.

    Redding: 2 K's, 2HR, 3ER.

At least he struck out the side?

lets hope we get the out-of-sync Matty Mo everybody is talking about this year.

Actually, we did pretty well against the old Matty Mo as well.

I just hate 1st inning deficits, though.

Redding has given up 2HR, 2doubles, and has struck out 3.

123 inning for Morris. That was fast.

This is getting INSANE BOOOOOOO BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    4-0 Birds....

That second double was BS (bloop), however... just like Spivey's double was BS against Redding as well.

Maybe he is just the unluckiest pitcher in baseball. Watch, one of these days, he'll throw a shutout by making the hitters hit screaming liners right to the outfielders. But, instead of bloops falling in, they'll be caught.

Not to mention he's now faced the opposing team's ace three times in a row.

This is such a crazy game!

    Redding stinks.

The Astros are entering "mediocrity" mode. Uh oh.

4-0 Birds.....Redding can find the zone. BUT he is throwing it for the batters to hit it.

    EDIT: Yeah......double play.

8-0 Cubs!!!! In the top of the first inning against the Pirates! The starter for the Pirates gave up 5 runs and never got an out. He was pulled. Man, I can't imagaine what his ERA is going to be. Giving up all those runs and no outs!

ONce again, Houston is stuck in the best division in the league (just like the Rox).

Time Redding has thrown 50 pitches already!!!!

Moris has thrown only 11 and he just got his first out in the 2nd. Geez.... :(

EDIT: EDIT: ANother 123 inning for Morris. This is not looking good. We stink so far tonight....

    Release the DAMN BOO BIRDS!!!!

    8-0 ANOTHER FREAKIN HR!!!

    REDDING SUCKS!!!! ARGH!!!!!

He doesn't deserve to be in our starting rotation. He has not brought his stuff this season.

ANd if it's not bad already, slow grounder to Everett and he lifts his glove too early. 1st error on Everett this season.
