Oh man! You hit nail on the head! Hubie loves these kind of players. He will fit right in. He'll probably make a bigger name for himself in Memphis (as opposed to the obscure Golden State) just because of Hubie's training/system alone.

By the way, I'd love to get Outlaw or Shane B. Oh, well...maybe another time.

This offseason is just too freaking hilarious so far.

Now it's time for the rox to seal the deal and offer up the whole TE and a first rounder to the lakers to sign Fisher to a 6 year deal starting out at 6.9 million dollars.

Cardinal had a breakout year for the Warriors last year, averaging 9.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game

Oooohhh...break out the MVP awards! I seriously have never heard of this guy.

You have to watch him play to understand...he's no "superstar." Just a smart, hard-working savvy player.

Cardinal really played well this year, especially agianst us. BUT, who the hell else was competing for him? Surely they could have had him for 20 million.

    He looks like Woody Harrelson...

But anyways, this guy will be well off for life now that he's making so much money. Watch this guy fall off in a few years and be sitting at home with his 39 mil laughing his ass off just like Matt Maloney is probably doing right now.

Seems like I am hearing the exact same thing that I heard last summer. Don't overpay for role players...blah, blah, blah. Brian Seemingly Cardinal's style of play is perfect for Memphis. I have no idea, I never watched the Warriors. I didn't see this coming I must admit but hopefully this means that Stro will be S&T'd to a team where he can get some big minutes.

There is a trade going to happen because Cardinal makes it 15 signed players with Stro and Tsakalidis as RFAs. To be honest I have no idea who we will trade for other than Dampier, Jerry West has info on lock in Memphis.

    PG J Will...Watson...Bell...Burks
    SG Miller...Wells...Jones...Emmett
    SF Posey...Battier...Cardinal
    PF Gasol...Swift ...Outlaw...Humphrey
    C Wright...Tsakalidis

My initial guess is Watson, Wells, Battier, Outlaw, Swift, and Humphrey will all be involved in a deal or two. If you notice the 1st 5 would be a decent starting five, real good 4 if you can move Outlaw to the bench.

    Deals I could see:

Swift, Battier, and Outlaw for Zydrunas Illgauskus

Swift, Wells, Watson, Outlaw for Kenyon Martin and Zo Mourningis contract

Swift, Wells, Watson, Outlaw for Ron Artest, Austin Croshere and Scott Pollard

I know for a fact that Hubie Brown loves Artest and Martin and my goal for this summer was to come out with either Ron Artest, Kenyon Martin, or Eddy Curry and still have Pau and Posey. It might just happen.

LOL, look at that roster! Talk about stacked! Forget a second team, Memphis can actually play a THIRD team! It is going to be interesting to see West make those 2 for 1s, 3 for 1 trades.

I wonder what our resident Grizzlies fan, Memphis X, thinks about the latest lottery winner.

This summer has reminded me of the summer when teams were doing the exact same thing, paying big bucks for no names like Jim McIlvaine back in the 90s.

the grizz are gonna be VERY good next year. you can already see the western conference taking shape a little.

the wolves, spurs, and kings are the top 3. the lakers, and mavs slide below the grizz and rockets, who are on the rise. and the nuggz, jazz, and suns all look to make the playoffs.

it looks like its gonna be one of those years where 45 wins won't make the playoffs in the west.
