Yes he had to have the U joints replaced after not even owning the car for a year. It would continually make a grinding noise. Yes Benz is made by Germans and owned by Daimler. BMW is also German. I kind of like the new Lexus body style. The interior is nice as well. Is their F model similar to the Benz AMG? I have a C63 which I love but it eats gas like crazy (which is expected). The exhaust tips on the IS F look hideous, but it looks like it will have some serious power. Another thing about the BMW and Benz is the interior is still this bland old same **** every year. Benz updated theirs in 2012 or so which was a huge improvement and I like how mine looks but they really need to revamp some of the things inside.
I had an 02 F150 5.4L for years. The only things that I ever had to replace were a bad fuel pump (super easy) and a fuel injector o-ring (even easier). I miss it, that was an awesome truck. Windows worked too.
