I just saw various models/manufacturers when googling "car window exploded". Jeeps, Fords, Nissans, etc. all involved. In most cases nobody knows what happened. Some people saying maybe something hit it just right to cause it to shatter. In the past, on other forums, I've heard of Acura and Audi moonroofs also shattering while driving. Still sounds like there was a defect in the glass that vibrations allowed it to shatter or something hit it while driving causing it to shatter, but ... who knows.
