Anyone that thinks Deron is strong enough to hold McGrady or play effective defense against McGrady in the post is delusional. No doubt Deron is strong, but there's no way in hell he could stop TMAC from posting him up all day.
I'm not saying Deron could keep TMac from scoring in the post, cause TMac should have a field day with that mismatch. I'm saying TMac wouldnt just back him down like say Ronnie Price.
Isn't that a given though? He would probably destroy Ronnie Price. Deron Williams is a lot stronger but he still can't keep TMAC from abusing him. TMAC isn't even really known for his post moves.

He is very thin but that is generally the case with freakishly tall guards. Have you ever heard of Dermarr Johnson? He makes tmac look like a beast.
