"To prove my godliness over Clinton, I will spray someone in the face and chest....and not a soul will try to impeach me." "When's Lawyer season start?" "I only eat what I shoot." "Crap, why did we waste that news release on us stopping the LA terrorist attacks? We could have really used that this week..." "Due to the risks of quail hunting, you can make a fair argument that the shooting was a pre-emptive strike." "BOOM! Headshot!"
Fark thread is hillarious. A couple made me laugh out loud. (not LOL....but really laugh out loud). Paraphrasing: guns are safe in the hands of a responsible person. and who amongst us hasn't shot a lawyer or two.
O my lore jesubee! The Ruger 10/22 in .22 rimfire is of no use. I can only hope the ole Bushmaster M4 with Eotech holosight, and M7 bayonet in 5.56 NATO can stop 'em! I must adhere to the 2700 fps rule (with M193 55 gr. FMJ ammo) to ensure reliable fragmentation though to enhance wound effectiveness. This means shots in the 0 to 95 yard range...Anything beyond, and then it may take multiple shots...My 20 inch barrelled M16 could extend fragmentation range to 170 yards or so, and the 77 grain Blackhills OTM rounds I got recently, such as those used by special forces in Afghanistan can push reliable fragmentation to nearly 300 yards. Of course, the M4 looks sexier, is lighter and I can swing the barrel quicker in close quarter battle scenarios with those creatures. Plus I can place the M7 bayonet on the M16 for a longer reach. Better to have than not have and need... Bolt action, and scoped such as my M24 in .308 would be the way to go, but I'd rather have semi-auto in case of a charge. Tough decision, but choosing the right firearm to counter this creature is critical!
that fark thread is awesome. "Well, once you've invaded a country and claimed all but absolute power over he domestic populace, there's not much thrill in anything other than hunting people for sport." "It was a lawyer. No big deal." two of my favorites. and they also reminded me to watch the Daily Show in that thread. i hardly ever do, and sometimes even find their overbearing bush-bashing a little too much, but it's still a funny show and i gotta see it after this news.
