Believe, so "this is so funny." When you call an impeccably accurate poster like Old School "ignorant" of facts, that is "so funny" 'eh? Successful trolls (like TheFreak ) get both sides of an argument to bite, so that the argument takes on a life on its own, and you can sit back and watch. You didn't get anyone in here on your side. You suck at it. You are either a really bad troll or a Mobley hata turning tail and running. You suck as a troll, and You suck as a Mobley hata. So, which one are you??
Steve Francis is a selfish jackass... Oh wait....DAMMIT, I always get my Mobley hating threads and my Steve hating threads mixed up! I should know better by now...
Cat can do as he pleases. This is supposed to be Steve's team. If Mobley or Norris or anyone else is screwing the team and Steve does nothing then he doesn't deserve to be the leader. Especially since he has been so vocal about keeping certain players on the team.
See my above post...please keep Steve Hating threads and Mobley hating threads separate, so as not to confuse BBS members... thank you...
Don't confuse Cat, sucking and gravity. Cat is really good, there is no gravity, and the Earth sucks... Thank you for your proper observance of these facts...
damn i was gonna say that. and believe, you do not make a insult of a respected member like Old School in one of you're first posts.
Wasn't it heypartner that pulled up this ranking from somewhere that had something in it that in terms of "performance for salary", based on last season's stats, Mobley was one of the top 10 players in the league? I would believe that. Okay, there it is... Name 2002 Salary Production Big C 1. Jordan, Michael $1,000,000 19.3 $51,646 2. Cassell, Sam $4,000,000 20.5 $195,573 3. Wallace, Ben $4,500,000 22.1 $203,591 4. Barry, Brent $4,680,000 20.4 $229,467 5. Snow, Eric $3,750,000 15.6 $240,094 6. Lewis, Rashard $4,413,375 17.8 $247,414 7. Stojakovic, Peja $5,000,000 19.3 $258,558 8. Armstrong, Darrell $4,130,500 15.9 $259,293 9. Miller, Brad $4,400,000 16.9 $260,183 10. Mobley, Cuttino $4,413,375 16.2 $272,158 http://tsn.sportingnews.com/voices/sean_deveney/20020809.html If this doesn't shut the starter of this thread up, then I don't know what would.
Believe: Do you have any takes on the current Rocket's uniforms or the controversial departure of Hakeem Olajuwon? I'd be interested in your thoughts. CBFC
I don't know what you people have problems with, but as a SG, Mobley's job is to SCORE! None of his teammates have complained about him not passing the rock, or taking too much shots. But C'mon, that's his job...to score! He doesn't get playing time for his defense, that's for sure.
Look I admit the comment made to Oldschool was uncalled for. Maybe I was a little ignorant on that one. I think everyone has made their point very clear. I said in the 1st post that I believed that Mobley has skills. I just always believed he had so much potential. All summer long I hoped the rockets would pick up Redd. I thought Mobley was a perfect 6th man. To score off the bench. I stated that in a recent post about Mobley being compared to Ginnobili (Cuttino issue). This is just what I believe. I still hope that Mobleys team game will be improved this season. That is why I may have jumped to a coclusion about his comments from camp. I wanted everyones opinion. Now I have it.
Here's another opinion coming from one the most pro-Mobley posters on the board.....Redd would not start over Mobley. Redd would have been a good backup though.
HAHAHA LOL your post made me laugh quite wildly. its obvious to me that you didnt read this thread at all. you see, there has been only ONE idiot posting stupid assumptions about Cuttino, and some 15-20 people defending him. Im not picking on you, but it just copught me funny as i was concidering adding BELIVE to my ignore list for his insulence. and since you are a fellow Newtorker i cannot laugh at you, just at your post PEACE
I'd trust Cat w/'the' shot - to Stevie and ahead of any others, save Rice -- of old, not the old Rice of last year...
I think he more than lived up to his potential, especially for a 41st draft pick. 22ppg @~44% fg How much is enough?
You guys ever notice that we act like brothers. Ya know, "I can pick on him but nobody else can". We argue 24/7, but when we get a occasional butthole, we all jump to our "brothers" defense. Believe, we just whooped your arse!!!!
So scoring a little over 21 ppg, about 44% from the field, about 37% from 3 pt range, about 3 to 4 boards per game, several steals per game, and nearly 3 assist per game after being a 2nd round pick isn't living up to his potential!?
