Realistically they only took the 2nd quarter and the first 3-4 minutes of the 3rd quarter off. Rewind and start watching with 9 minutes left in the 3rd, that's when they picked it up, right about the time harden went out with 4 fouls.
Had me laughing here LOL. These people are nuts and obviously not happy with their own lives. Why are they projecting it to the Rox I have no idea. Even if the Rox win a ring Im pretty sure these guys still wont be happy and would 2ant Mchale fire because he doesnt stand enough during games.
The playoffs are a roller coaster of ups and downs. I sense a "shift" in the Rockets attitude, demeanor, and engagement. It didn't come till late, but if it continues it bodes well for the games in LA. I see Paul coming back, but not 100% which somewhat neutralizes our biggest weakness, PG play. This series can go either way. If we take one in LA and bring it back to Houston, I like our chances. The real question: are they finally "in" the series to win it?
In the playoffs, it's war. Everyone is fighting for survival. You evolve as you win... there is no wrong way to win.
My biggest concern is that our success seemed to be predicated on Paul and DeAndre Jordan being out of the game. It reminded me of the last series - how the Mavs would tighten the game while Howard sat. There is a ton of good things to take from it - Harden showing up, Howard showing out, Ariza guarding Griffin, the mental toughness it took to climb back from the deficit. But i need to see them keep a lead with Jordan in the game. He shuts down the lane and allows their perimeter defenders to gamble. On defense, dwight can't help out for fear of a lob.
It's still a pretty flawed game. Harden literally plays like he ate way too much of something that didn't agree with him to start the game. I understand that he does a heavy pasta dish before each game and the weather has all of sudden gotten much hotter lately. I think he should change his game time meal if that's the case.
Ugly or not it is a W and that column is what counts in the end. Rockets will get better on the road, which for some reason makes the team play better and the home team has all the pressure on them to defend the HC.
In the end the way I feel about the win is this... I'm not happy about the times and plays where the team didn't perform well. I'm very excited about the outcome of the game, and the times and plays where the team pulled it out especially during clutch time.

Think of us as an underdog. That mentality helps you cope with close games. If they win it, it will be make you even 'happier'. If not, so be it.
