Sure, Obama got a lot of his agenda passed, and this congress put through a lot of legislation. So they didn't fail in terms of legislating. That's like saying success is making a lot of changes. To me the failure point is around how many problems did they actually solve? I don't think health care is any closer to a solution. In fact it may just get overturned in the S.C. We still face the very same crisis regarding this system. We still face the fundamental issue that this country doesn't manufacture anything anymore and there is a lack of blue collar jobs that pay well enough to create a middle class. That's a really big problem and those people are going to get pushed down to lower classes but that hits us all since they are the backbone of the economy. They may not represent a large percentage of income nor wealth, but they do make up a big component of spend.
STFU you condescending douche. I understand the word and I understand that you are a total fricking moron for equating laws passed with productivity. Merry Christmas, you over-officious jerk.
democrats were "slaughtered" b/c they have been acting like neocons and not following thru on what they said they were going to do. many democrats ran away from the health care bill b/c obama sold out the public option (which he campaigned on). obamas agenda seems to be a continuation of bushs agenda - out of control spending, ever-expanding government, civil liberties violations, war, torture, tax cuts for the wealthy, government secrecy, corporate welfare...shouldnt republicans be supporting all of these things? they loved it when bush was president.
I would **** punch him every time he says "brah" if I could. He's the Cortland Temujin Finnegan of the D&D.
That's kinda what he's aiming for. He's just some well to do guy with too much time on his hands taking the pies out of anyone who will bite. Heck everyone here prob has too much time if you are posting in D&D. I
Seems like a touched a nerve there. Nothing more productive to add? Merry Christmas to you. (and I mean that sincerely.)
My mission is deeper than that, brah My mission is to change lives for the better -- and I start by showing the liberals the error of their ways.
I like the idea brah However -- I want to wait to see who the Republican will be I can't stand Palin and would not bet if it is her.
Funny guy. Trying to persuade people by insulting and antagonizing them? How's that working out for ya!
everytime i see the word brah it reminds me of this movie and this scene. airborne... @1:10 <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M1Wy6Jisn2c?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M1Wy6Jisn2c?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

There is more evidence to support the notion that Obama is Kenyan than to support the idea that I'm this jorge chappy, but if the tin foil hat fits....
Seems my assessment of the president is correct --- via TPM -- According to a CNN poll released Wednesday , 56% of Americans approve of President Obama's job performance during the lame duck session -- 14 points higher than the 42% approval rating for Congressional Republicans over the same period. Even the Democratic Party, which just one month ago suffered enormous midterm losses, polled slightly higher than the GOP, with 44% of Americans approving of their job performance in the lame duck session. Respondents also said they believe Obama's policies rather than those of the GOP would move the country in the right direction. Fifty-five percent of respondents said Obama's proposals would move the country in the right direction, while 42% said they would do the opposite. By contrast, 51% said the Republicans' policies would be good for the U.S., versus 44% who said they would be bad for the country.
