The truth has been revealed in Uranus.

You are getting a mouthful, before and after

It must be poignant and saline.

We do have a means for paying for what we spend, but they have gotten continual tax cuts over the last 30 years and are still b****ing for more.

    results:

111th Congress Created More National Debt Than First 100 Congresses Combined

I think I can argue with that.

bush spent more than all previous presidents combined in the first 3.5 years of his presidency and not only did you support him all the way, you attacked those who dared criticize his liberal spending policies. why are you only now coming out against out of control spending?

Because that spending wasn't out of control. There has to be a breaking point somewhere, and the only logical place to put it is at January 20th, 2009.

Conservatives/Libertarians have complained about Republicans as well. That's why the tea party was so aggressive in the primary (taking out Castle, Crist, Murkowski). That being said if a person's concern is the government having a balanced budget then obviously the lesser of two evils is the Republicans, so Democrats will see most of the ire.

Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough in this thread?

Last I checked Murkowski was re-elected.

But you’re right! It was so nice to see all those tea baggers screaming like hell at Bush when he was destroying the economy and spending the country into a recession

Why weren't these folks so aggressive during all the years of runaway Republican spending prior to Obama's election?

This statement is based on what, exactly? Certainly not facts. The only time we've not been running record deficits in the past 30 years was with a Democrat in the White House.

Murkowski lost the primary last time I checked.

Plenty of Conservatives/Libertarians were made at Bush's economic policies. I understand the desire for liberals to see this as untrue; it allows you to paint your opponents as racist or puppets; but liberals are lying to themselves if they think Conservatives/Libertarians were content with the Republicans stance on government spending over the past decade.

Who cares why the ire at government spending has increased now? It has no relevance to the argument that our government is over spending.

I like how you ignored the second part of my question. The part that addresses the absurd notion that Republicans are the better alternative if you want fiscal responsibility.
