When Biden said "if you vote for Trump you ain't black" everyone condemned him and he understood the mistake. Liberals, leftists, moderate Democrats all said it was a bad statement that he shouldn't have said.

But the notion that African Americans are mental slaves to the DNC is a narrative that is readily pushed in conservative circles with zero pushback. I mean it was literally expressed in the RNC.

Lol, I just watched a vid of Candice Owens getting owned on the Joe Rogen show. She managed to appear even dumber than him.

 

Lol wat? You just drivel on and on and mostly talk to yourself. I never accuse Owens of not being black, I just said that she's stupid and a grifter, that's all. The reason she's a grifter is because she literally changed ideologies over night (that's what she said herself) and her grift has been exposed a few times now.

The only people dumber than her are those that fall for her grift. Like you.

 

Creating high tech jobs in their district doesn't really help poor black neighborhoods. Because the jobs that are going to be offered are not jobs that poor folks without access to high quality education have the ability to have access to those careers. Same reason why adding a corporate Amazon office in AOC's distrcit would barely help her constituents as the vast majority of them cannot get a corporate Amazon career.

School choice is a disaster for poor communties because there is no where near the supply to offload millions of students to charter schools without leaving behind millions of students. Also, it's obvious that this push for "school choice" while just abadoning public schools is a pure grift move by capitalists to find another avenue for profit generation. Hence why they go with the far less direct approach for school reform which would be properly funding and improving existing schools and go for this inefficient method of "choice" which is abandoning current public schools and the majority of students in them for just a lucky percentage that have access to this "choice".



No, what is really needed are services and programs that remove burdens that poor children often face that middle class and well off kids don't face such as having increased responsibilities such as helping raise younger siblings, having to provide supplemental income etc. That means having the parents have free healthcare and free high quality early childhood education centers like many European nations.

And probably the biggest change that needs to be made for the black community is transitioning them from being renters to property owners. The vast difference in the median wealth of a white family and the median wealth of a black family is primarily the result of property ownership. Black families are far more likely to be paying rent to a landlord while white families are far more likely to be home owners. Now this is a direct result of what happened right after WW2 where the largest wealth grab by white middle class America happened when the master planned suburban housing boom occured where blue collar families with nothing more than a high school degree got cheap mortgages like candy while black families even when financially qualifed were denied those mortgages because the banks deemed that they would lower property values because the market had a lot of racist white people who don't want black neighbors which means when a black family would move it would lower demand of the nearby property. All that equity that white middle class America gained right after WW2 grew significanltly and is largely responsbile for the modern middle class white America.

Now if you want to wonder why it seems like poor black communties are more apathetic about improving their neighborhoods understand that when you own property you start to significanltly care more about your neighborhood and its upkeep. When you are a renter, you always have the mindset that this is a temporary place of transition.

Black families should get the same opportunity that white families got post ww2 where a high school education and a labor job with a stay at home parent with only one parent working can afford a mortgage which is impossible today without government intervention. This is where I think "reprrations" need to happen.

 

I really find it odd that when anyone from the Black community says anything along the lines of taking personal responsibility, stop committing crimes at disproportional rates, keep fathers in the home, or speak with slim/no slang are considered sell-outs or in this case, a grifter.

 

No we think it's a pointless statement because you can't solve systemic problems with normative PSAs. It never has worked in human history.

If you aren't racist and believe that the same percentage of black people are as lazy as the same percentage of white people, then you would know that any laziness in either community would offset where you wouldn't see a 1000% wealth gap between the two races per median family.

It's also a racist implication assuming that black people don't believe in "personal responsibility".

You can keep shouting these platitudes until you are blue in the face and it won't do anything.

As for the rest of your post, whatever, we can just continue to ignore the systemic racism of centuries, the amount of times wealth was given to everyone but black folk, and instead just blame it on how they speak. Because sure, that's the reason, right? It's not like southern white people, northern white people, have no slang or dialect...
