If there is any redemption in our conversation today, I want to share a little bit about myself. I have been mentoring young people for the longest of time and the majority of them are black so I know first hand what absentee father and the devastating effects it can have on the child.

I am 60 years old now and I have been doing this long before Mr Trump got into office. There are many encouraging signs that black people are waking up and #WalkingAway from this mental slavery.

You can choose to believe in this or not it is strictly up to you but over 20% of black people will be voting for Mr Trump in this elections.

One of my mentees eventually became a successful physician and took over my practice when I went into semi-retirement, he's happened to be black and a very respected podiatrist/surgeon in HTown.
