I just chuckled when I thought about how @Senator claimed how good of a president she would make and I'm just chuckling away at the thought of Candice Owens debating someone like Obama or Romney on tax policy.

I think we've had too much Trump to remember that presidents most of the time are usually educated competent humans that have some nuanced understanding of how government works outside of maybe people like W Bush and Reagan. Those guys were pretty dumb when it came to nuanced policy positions.
