I thought Alberta beef was the most flavorful that I've ever had. It is harder to track down very highly graded melt-in-your-mouth beef in Alberta than Texas, but the average quality is much better than in Texas. All things considered, I'd trade Houston and its summers for Calgary and its winters if the lady would move with me. I loved it up there, not so much for Calgary itself as for the mountains.
I've only been to Whistler and Vancouver. Both are awesome. The area is a paradise for anyone that likes the outdoors. The ethnocentric jackass that started this thread should buy some proper attire and quit crying like a baby or work elsewhere.
The metric system actually makes sense. I mean 12in = feet , 36 in = yard, 5280ft = miles. It looks like someone just pulled these numbers out of nowhere. Of being used to miles and feet the metric system is kind of strange.

At least Cananda isn't France... I would imagine some parts , heck maybe MOST parts of Canada sucks but some parts in the US in't all rosy. I would love to visit Vancouver,..i imagine that is the best part of Canada...but I never been.
Yeah, but at least they didn't ask the two-year PAC 10 starter and Rose Bowl winner to play tight end.
I'm sure even an elementary school Canadian Hoser could pull a list about 10 times as long out of their ass as to why the US is a piece of crap too. I've visited Canada (Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal specifically) and have often felt the US could take a lesson or two from them. Least of which are their streets are cleaner - much cleaner - and being able to speak more than one language is a plus. Believe it or not, the world does not revolve around the USA (though I would be ok with that) and it is standard practice in many of these "crap" countries to teach their children in school to speak multiple languages. I could go on but I don't care enough to. I'm just put off by your display of ignorance. Canadians absolutely love the US compared to most countries. Go Rockets! Go Texans!
this is what you said about the half a million Chinese Canadians in the original Jeremy Lin thread where do you come up with this stuff?
