It will be nice to play OKC and the Clippers with some rest.

The schedule makers like handing us over on silver platters to our rival teams.

No no no, you can't just go off of whoever was perfect - you have to look at the record of who did the best job overall of predicting, by the end. Who ends up with the highest % when it's over? THAT is what we should be looking at

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. Let's just see who did the best overall job of prognostication, not who was perfect.

Couple of B2B's in there that will probably see the team having a bit of a let-down.. especially AT Denver (3rd game in 4 nights, and in Denver, where it is notoriously hard to breathe). I hope not, but it's the sort of thing this team does. Plus, Cleveland has been playing a lot better, don't sleep on the Cavs at home. Home games against the Clips & Thunder CRITICAL, we will NOT lose those games. Penultimate game against SA may be for #2 seed. All three of those important games are in Houston, and we will win them.

The big question-mark for me is to see how we do in Chicago - sandwiched between roadies in OKC and Miami (brutal!), and it will actually be a really great sign if we can avoid a 3-game losing streak here. Even so, after that 3-game stretch, the remainder of the schedule is filled with bottom-feeders and 3 home games against good teams. Ending the season on a 16-game win streak, anyone? (This is why I have us stumbling against Cleveland and Denver, so as not to jinx us lol)

18-5, on a hot streak, winning 12 of the final 13.
    Revised prediction: 19-4

We finish 2nd in the West. OKC gets upset in Rd 1 or 2, leaving us as the top seed in the West. Sa takes out the Clips, and we take out SA in 7. We make it to the finals, but get smashed by the Heat 4-1.

All in all, not a terribly bad season. Will be better next year.

(If they can somehow avoid the stumbles against the Cavs and the Nuggets, and hold home court against OKC & Clips, this team could actually win 61 this year, which would be bloody amazing.)

Wonderful unexpected win against the Heat, upping the very realistic possibility to between 59 and 61 wins, if everything breaks just right.

That means winning at OKC first, and I hope you're right, that would be excellent!

There is not ONE game after the Miami game that we won't be favored in if the odds were up today. Obviously we won't win them all, but it will be a good feeling being the favorite in every single game barring injury.

3/20 - No longer as worried about Cleveland, as they are seemingly in full-on tank mode. We should be favored in every remaining game. The only remaining real concern is the Denver game on Apr 9th (2nd night of a b2b in Denver), but it is entirely possible this team ends the season on a 16-game winning streak.

    Wouldn't that be fun?
