Dude, the haters are the one b****ing and moaning about how Tracy is frustrated with his minutes. Last year, from the very start I said Tracy need to shut it down. So I was talking about what we are doing now before anyone thought about it.

Too many people dissapear when all Tracy said was positive. About how he supported the decision, but once something bad comes out, they all appear.

DD, I also expect you to make as many posts as you do about Tracy about Ariza and his poor play.

Ariza? His shooting is annoying, but he's young, plays better defense, and is a lot cheaper. Yesterday's performance was indeed kind of a "WTF" performance, but he's a long-term prospect who will be with the Rockets for some time and will massively improve when we get an actual All-Star on the team, unlike McGrady.

Start an Ariza thread, and stop moving the goal posts.

if he has, i doubt that he has ever refused to participate in multiple plays, retreating back to half-court and forcing his teammates to go 4 on 5.

T-Macs didnt put his hands up once.. and he doesnt play defense. I'm confused

does t-mac pay yall by the post or is it a salaried position?

Yeah, I played ball, still do.....

Trust me, I understand the game, quite well...

It has to be either a bunch of kids that got computers early for Christmas or his PR firm is busy recruiting...

I'm talking about all the Tracy fans here who right now "T-Mac should play 30 minutes a game and will save the Rockets from..... something and the only reason he doesn't is because Adelman is a meaniehead!" And from what I've seen, I'm a "hater" because I understand that line of thought is utterly r****ded. That, and I'll be perfectly happy when he leaves.

And last year? Maybe he should have shut it down, but the way he did it was disgusting. That's all. I'm not interested in talking about that now.

Well... real Rox fans always knew his offense is suspect, but put up with it for lack of better options. We can't constantly rely on only AB and Landry, so we turn to Ariza who is really trying to play outside his league. Signed for the MLE, no one with common sense expects Ariza maintain this role once we have a legitimate scorer and are simply putting up with it for this throw away season. Even though he's building houses with all his bricks, his D is still way better than T-Mac and that makes him more valuable right now.

You're a contributing member go start one. Since you hate anyone who hurts the Rockets. Ariza is hurting the Rockets by trying to become Kobe Bryant.

When he plays good defense, normally plays within the system (last night was really the first time I've seen where Ariza's performance was Artest-like), and is a lot cheaper? Sure. I'll be irritated with Ariza's offensive performance now and then, but I won't be pissed off over it.
And you T-Mac fans seem not to have realized that DD has bashed Ariza before.

It's not about whether McGrady has a right to be frustrated. It's about how he deals with frustration.

It wasn't about whether McGrady was fully healthy last year, it was about how he dealt with his physical issues.

It wasn't about whether McGrady needed to end his season, it was about how he pulled the plug on it.

It hasn't been about whether McGrady is ready, it's been about how he's dealt with it.

It won't be until he's off the team, but at some point Apologists are going to realize that he does not give a damn about Houston, the Rockets, his teammates, or the fans. Easy came, Easy's going to go.

My whole point is I still believe mcgrady can help this team become an elite team next year when yao comes back, but Adelman is going about the situation wrong with mcgrady which will make mcgrady not want to resign with the Rockets.

It seems people fail to realize that were not getting lebron, wade or joe johson, to replace t-mac so his our best option at a real sg not ariza, mcgrady's the final piece to the puzzle when yao comes back.

We have yet to see this team at full strength, we have not seen this cast with Yao and T-mac together

Its been this cast with t-mac= 22 gm streak, yao with this cast=2nd round
I still want to see the team together and see what they can do.

I think where mcgrady can really help this team is when RA offense isn't working and Yao is being taken out of games by fronting, you still have a guy that can create something out of nothing, whether it's creating for his-self or others.

Unless were just going to settle for just being a playoff team instead I can understand why everyone wants to get rid of him but if we want to be a championship contender we still need mcgrady imo.

At least T-Mac has not burned the bridges as fast as Pippen did. I suppose that is something to be thankful of.

So the fact that his defense is WAY better than T-Mac makes him more valuable? I think that T-Mac should get a little more time.. Like 15mins a game and see how that works out. I DO NOT want him playing much more than that. It's just when we go on scoring droughts or Ariza is bricking it up why not atleast give it a shot?

    @ Korjirou

T-Mac's defense hasn't really been bad since he's been back. He has missed an assignment or two, but he isnt the only one. Im a fan of both Rockets and T-Mac, because I start watching them at the same time, but it will not hurt too much to atleast try it out.. right?

hey come on DD start a ariza thread by popular demand. ;)

and yeah the problem is how he handles frustration, its normal to get frustrated when only playing 7 min, when you think you should be playing more, but go talk to adelman first, not come out and act as if RA is the bad guy of this, the funny thing is that, playing limited time after a microfrature surgery could be a key factor to extending t-macs career, he even said he shouldnt even be playing as recovery time is 1 year, so hey, congratulations for him for really working hard and coming back ahead of time, but it would be just sad to see chris webber part 2 with t-mac because he wants to get more minutes early this season.

Built in excuses are great. McGrady was never going to stay here anyway.

The team tried to do it McGrady's way last year. He's lost any and all rights to call the shots.
