I'd sure hate to be around you if anything ever really important went wrong. Good thing your steak wasn't over-cooked...
After he asked if you had drank out of it yet you should have said hold on and rolled up your window and pee'd in the drink and then rolled the window back down and said, no. That's got to be a run-on. I get annoyed with people a lot, and the best thing to do is cool down and call the number on your receipt later and they'll send you some free coupons. Also, always remember to look at the name tag of the people who are pissing you off and remember the day and time. Don't get mad, get free stuff!
lets all go to fast food joints with pimply faced 15 yr olds working there, and expect quality service, you're lucky they dont spit in your food after you complain lets all throw a hissy fit over pocket change ****
I guess they re-hired the cleaning lady because I saw her last week. Anyway, OP, yeah, I don't see what the fuss was about. They could have just simply corrected your order. I dunno about driving off part though. Most likely, they are not gonna care about that order. I'm sure there are more worst cases than yours! I always make sure that I am nice to customer service people because god knows that they get picked on by rude people!
Sonic's kinda gone to **** for a while now. Too bad I like a lot of their stuff. And while I agree that they were morons that should have just took care of the drink, you probably should have just let it go (at the 'well this has more ice than I would have liked point).
If folks don't complain about the level of service, how will these 15 year olds ever learn to provide good service or consequences may ensue?
oh right, MY MISTAKE, lets train them to serve their customers like they're dining in a 5 star restaurant and not a drive thru, yet still pay them minimum wage cheap labor means you'll eat cheap food which means you'll receive cheap service
Salary is irrelevant. If you are in a customer service type of job, you should provide quality customer service. And they should not be trained as if they are in a 5 star restaurant, they aren't. They should be trained as if they are working in a fast food restaurant. They should be trained to properly take and deliver orders. they should be trained on how to handle mistakes and they should be trained on how to handle difficult customers.
i think you all need to get matching t-shirts and go to that sonic to teach that little bugger a lesson difficult people are difficult, more news at 10
I guess you will happily go through life accepting poor customer service. I'll continue to notify the restaurant or their regional office if I receive unacceptable customer service.
if thats what you want to spend your life doing, lol and, I accept what is reasonable. Hardly even consider this an arguement on one side, you have a 15 yr old that put too much ice in a drink other side, you have a grown man driving off and not paying for his drink
yep...that 15 minutes or so I've spent this year resolving a couple of problems is really taking time out of the rest of my life. In this example (in my opinion), Sonic should have fixed the order and if not, the poster should have taken it to the next level rather than doing the order/drive away thing.
I cant believe the OP found a Sonic. They run commercials for that place all the time here in LA when the closest Sonic is like 30-40 miles away in Orange County. Every time I am watching that commercials with a friend its always bound to come up: "where the F is a Sonic around here?"
