    PG: Magic Johnson
    SG: Michael Jordan
    SF: Larry Bird
    PF: Bill Russell
    C: Wilt Chamberlain

You can have 12 players to rotate and I will just play these 5 guys at their prime.

    To start, I'd go with

Oscar Robertson, Kobe, Dr. J, Hakeem and Shaq.

Those alone would give your team a run. Give me 7 more bench players and I'd easily come up with a team to beat yours.

    Oscar Robertson/John Stockton
    Tracy McGrady/Joe Dumars
    Julius Earving/Dominique Wilkins
    Charles Barkley/Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett
    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/Moses Malone/Hakeem Olajuwan

Yeah, I think my team would win.

You're one sprained ankle away from a forfeit. In that case, I'll just take the "Bad Boys". :D

I don't think so. You can only play 5 at a time even if your deep bench highlights Eric Dampier.

    Magic
    Michael
    A healthy Tracy
    Tim Duncan
    Hakeem Olajuwon

They would be bad ass on the offensive end as well as the defensive end.

Im not sure Wilt and Russell would be so dominant if they played in this era. In their time there were no Ben Wallaces, KGs, Tim Duncans, etc... And a guy like Pippen or Bowen could cause all kinds of problems for Bird. Magic couldnt keep up with scoring PGs on offense although he could post them up but that negates the whole point of having Johnson lead the team. That team is great but it could be beaten. And id get Ray Lewis to guard Jordan...

    Stockton
    Kobe
    McGrady
    Duncan
    Hakeem

that team would own you because Bill and Wilt couldn't handle Duncan and Olajuwon

i tried to put mine together based on matchups and who would play well together.

oscar vs. magic - i would have taken stockton, but size wise i think o matches up better
vernon maxwell vs. michael jordan - nobody could defend m.j. like mad max.
james worthy vs. bird - always steped it up when it counted. and he played bird so much in the finals that he would be the best match-up.
    duncan vs. russell
    dream vs. wilt

    waterboy - scottie pippen

Pf - Hakeem Olajuwon ( Bill Russell would NOT be able to keep up with Olajuwon's post moves.)
Sf - Kevin Garnett ( Faster and taller than Larry Bird, and can keep a hand in his face to prevent him from shooting at a high percent. One of Bird's many advantages was that he was taller than his defender...not here.)
    C - Shaquille O'neal ( Push)
    Sg- Kobe Bryant
Pg - Steve Nash ( Greatest passer and PURE point guard in NBA history.)

    5 - Shaquille Oneal
    4 - Hakeem Olajuwon
    3 - Kevin Garnett
    2 - Kobe Bryant
    1 - Steve Nash

    6th man - James Worthy

Where are the advantages? Wilt would run Shaq to exhaustion, Russell would contain Hakeem, Bird and T-Mac would be interesting but I have to give the advantage to Bird, Jordan would destroy Kobe, same with Magic against Nash.
